Fees and Payment Options
The organisers of the McGregor Summer School are aware that the attendance at the Summer School is a major investment by students in their creative growth and enjoyment, options open to students include:
Course Fees
Tuition
Students should choose one of the many exciting classes on offer, and enrol in that class for the entire ten day period. Junior students (under 18 years) are only eligible to enrol in Music (from 11 years), Music Theatre (from 15 years), Junior Theatre (from 13 years) or POP Youth Arts (from 15 years).

There is no material, tool or model levy payable to the McGregor Schools. Materials are not included in the tuition fee for any class; students must provide their own materials. A list of requirements will be sent upon enrolment.
Accommodation
There are different rates for accommodation on campus, depending on the bathroom facilities. The options are – private bathroom facilities, shared bathroom facilities (i.e. one bathroom shared between two bedrooms) or communal bathroom facilities (i.e. a central block of bathrooms per building). A lower rate applies for students seventeen years and under (communal only).
All colleges have carpeted and serviced single bedrooms that are serviced during your stay.
As accommodation is now full we recommend you contact the Student Village on 07 4690 0000 for their costings and availability. The Student Village is located within walking distance of the University campus and other Colleges are are self-catering apartments.

Payment Option 1 - Standard
- Enrol and pay a AUD100 non-refundable deposit to secure your class place and (if required) accommodation before 30 October 2009.
- Final payment due by 4 December 2009. Any enrolments after 1 December full payment only.
Payment Option 2 - Earlybird Discount
Payment Option 3 - Friends of McGregor (must be financial member)
Accommodation must be added if necessary.
Payment Option 4 - Late Enrolment
Cancellation

Cancellation before 4 December - refund of fees paid less AUD100.00

Cancellation after 4 December - no refund

Cancellation of accommodation incurs a $50 penalty

The McGregor Schools management may refund part or the entire tuition fee where unforeseen circumstances have led to a student's cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to limit the class sizes and cancel the courses if minimum enrolments are not reached by the closing date of 4 December, or if any other unforeseen circumstances occur. If a class is cancelled students will be eligible to receive a full refund of all fees paid.

Students will be notified of cancelled classes approximately 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the School.
Bursaries
The Friends of the McGregor Schools Inc provides bursary assistance for the 2010 Summer School. There will be several bursaries made available offering a discount on the full tuition fee.

Melanie Bullen Bursary
Frank and Kelly Bullen are proud to offer the Melanie Bullen Bursary in memory of their talented, vivacious, unique and giving wife and mother. The recipient of this bursary will be involved in the visual arts program as a testimonial to Melanie's creative endeavours, specifically in painting and quilting.
Musical bursaries are provided by Peter Collins and Wendy Jackson.

Grants
Apply to your local Council for a Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grant. Many people have been successful in the past in obtaining these grants to attend the McGregor Schools.
