Andrew Eunson from Mudjimba

After studying under USQ’s Martin Crook, Andrew taught at Toowoomba Grammar School for 7 years before taking up a position as Director of Co-Curriculum Music at St Andrew’s Anglican College at Peregian Springs. He toured Hawaii with a 50-piece wind band in April of 2009, working with some of the United States top band directors and in 2012 took over 150 students to various festivals in Europe. Andrew was also the Musical Director of the Cool Nights Big Band, performing over 40 shows each year. At an Advanced Directors Workshop with John Morrison he was involved in advanced jazz pedagogy instruction and performance, and was a delegate at the Australian Band and Orchestra Director’s Association Queensland conference in 2010 working with world-renowned guest clinician Timothy Reynish.
