Martin Kay from Sydney

Martin Kay is accomplished in both classical and improvised music. In addition to performing with the Sydney Symphony, Tasmanian Symphony, Malaysian Philharmonic and Opera Australia, Martin also performs in Invisible City, The Fantastic Terrific Munkle, The Reaston Kay Effect, Ma and Mezcla. A sample of his diverse performing skills can be heard on recordings such as The Reaston Kay Effect (The Reaston/ Kay Effect), Across the City and Into Your Room (Ma), The Cahoots (The Terrific Munkle), Music to Dance To (The Fantastic Terrific Muncle) and From Leaps to Bounds (Jeff Usher). Martin has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship and a Master of Music in saxophone performance and is currently Professor of Saxophone at Newcastle University. Martin has recently returned from Scotland where he participated in the World Saxophone Congress and rambled through the Highlands.....
