Class Synopsis
Using acrylic paint, pencil, collage, ink, glazes, glitter and transfer techniques, participants will create a series of works on canvas, paper, board as well as making a concertina artists’ book.
Largely explorative yet grounded in process, participants have plenty of opportunity to experiment, yet take home valuable skills such as the application of clear/acrylic glazes; colour mixing; paint application and composition.
This workshop is suitable for those who enjoy experimenting, taking risks, making happy ‘mistakes’ and who like to be challenged! Catherine is a passionate about assisting participants to take their ideas to the next level, thereby encouraging independent application at the completion of the workshop.
