Course Synopsis
The class will focus on new ways of creating representational art works through experimenting with various materials and unexpected combinations. Demonstrations of graphite, coloured pencils, ink and gouache will form a basis from which participants can create their own interpretations of found imagery. The class will also investigate textural dimensions for works on paper through stitching, layering and cutting.
The class is suitable for participants of all levels as it will look at both foundation and more experimental techniques related to drawing and mixed media.
