Fees and Payment OptionsThe organisers of the McGregor Summer School are aware that the attendance at the Summer School is a major investment by students in their creative growth and enjoyment, options open to students include:
Course FeesTuition Students should choose one of the many exciting classes on offer, and enrol in that class for the entire ten day period. Junior students (under 18 years) are only eligible to enrol in Music (from 11 years), Music Theatre (from 15 years), Junior Theatre (from 13 years) or POP Youth Arts (from 15 years).
There is no material, tool or model levy payable to the McGregor Schools. Materials are not included in the tuition fee for any class; students must provide their own materials. A list of requirements will be sent upon enrolment. Accommodation There are different rates for accommodation on campus, depending on the bathroom facilities. The options are – private bathroom facilities, shared bathroom facilities (i.e. one bathroom shared between two bedrooms) or communal bathroom facilities (i.e. a central block of bathrooms per building). A lower rate applies for students seventeen years and under (communal only). All colleges have carpeted and serviced single bedrooms that are serviced during your stay. As both McGregor and Concannon Colleges are now full, we suggest you contact the Office to be placed on a waiting list for shared accommodation or contact the Student Village on 07 4690 0000 for their costings and availability. The Student Village is located within walking distance of the University campus and other Colleges.

BursariesThe Friends of the McGregor Schools Inc provides bursary assistance for the 2009 Summer School. There will be several bursaries made available offering a discount on the full tuition fee. Selection will be made rating the:
The Pam Byde Bequest will again be offered to any student aged 13 to 18 years who is undertaking a course in Junior Theatre. Pam Byde was passionate about drama, she was Artistic Director of the Brisbane Arts Theatre for a number of years, where she acted and produced plays for both adults and children. She believed that the involvement in live theatre not only improved self-confidence but developed creativity and engaged people in team work where they could see who success depended on each other. Pam died in 2004, leaving money to the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Queensland to be used according to their principles of testimonies of justice, equality and peace. Local Financial Planning firm Hunter Green will also make a bursary available to students enrolling in the Jazz Piano and Jazz Vocal class. This is the second year Hunter Green have sponsored a student to the Summer School.
