Course Synopsis
This is a singing class for beginners (those with little or no experience in this area). It is designed for those who always wanted to sing but never dated to!
A Capella means singing unaccompanied by a musical instrument – just voices in harmony. Participants will be taught some basic singing techniques including breathing and posture work, and will be taught at least six simple world music songs including African, Japanese and Pacific Island pieces.
There is no requirement to be able to read music, just a desire to make music in the company of others in an encouraging and non-judgemental atmosphere.
Group singing is empowering and enjoyable, so come and experience yourself in a new and exhilarating way!!
