This course is for all those people who would like the challenge and fun upholstering a chair themselves. It may be a dining chair, bedroom chair, office chair or a small lounge chair. Even if you have no experience at all, you can do this course.
Learn how to measure up your chair, make a cutting list, draw cutting plans, strip the job down, cut your fabric and finally, reupholster your chair to give it a brand new lease on life!
Even if you have no experience whatsoever, you can do this course.
NOTE: All students must contact the tutor at least 4 to 6 weeks before the start of the course to discuss their project, as stuffing and fabric should be purchased prior to the class where possible. Laurens’ contact details will be sent out after enrolment
Depends on item to be upholstered. If buying new tools these could be $100 plus, but most people would have the needed equipment. A materials list will be sent on enrolment.
You are able to enrol on-line or an enrolment form is in pdf format for you to complete and either fax or post.
