Judy Pomroy, Gold Coast

Judy, who is based on the Gold Coast, has been successfully painting & exhibiting throughout Australia since 1995. Inspired to go further with her art, Judy set up her own Art Studio at Palm Beach in order to share her expertise with other aspiring artists and has since established regular classes/workshops for beginners & experienced artists, who wish to explore their creativity in all areas of water-based media. Judy's enthusiasm and innovative approach to her painting techniques continues to stimulate and inspire her many students, which has now extended to travelling Art Tours, both in Australia and overseas.

Course Synopsis

This course is designed for intermediate to advanced students with who will be utilizing acrylics to their maximum potential from transparent washes to thick opaque overlay, collage and texture based projects to create some flamboyant effects.

You will be encouraged to use personal subject matter for originality towards creating dynamic and imaginative artworks. The class will have an atmosphere of fun and discovery, which is designed to increase your awareness & focus.

The course is structured to include those wishing to try their hand at acrylics as well as those who wish to extend their knowledge and ability in all major acrylic techniques.
