Pastel PotentialTutor in ResidenceLyn Diefenbach - Yeppoon
This is a workshop that will enhance and extend the knowledge and skill level of each participant. We will investigate thoroughly aspects of composition and gain a clear understanding of the relationships of line, colour, edge and tone. Pastel will be used in a sculptural way to create paintings that demand attention. There will be plenty of demonstrations and individual attention at the easel. Estimated materials cost: $50.00 - Experienced students should have most materials The pursuit of masterly quality and technique is a high priority for Lyn Diefenbach, whose work covers a myriad of subject matter. Lyn’s bold florals are receiving accolades internationally, with high demand for her work and teaching. Her last 3 exhibitions have sold out. A Master Pastellist with the Pastel Society of Australia, Lyn has feature articles published in the International Artist (October/November 2007, August/September 2006, and June/July 2005) and the Australian Artist (September 1999, August 2002). Her work “Ruffled Joy” was selected for the International Artist book “100 ways to Paint Flowers and Gardens”. |
