Accommodation

Accommodation on-campus will be provided in Residential Colleges (alternative accommodation arrangements will need to be made by students living off campus). McGregor and Concannon have share facilities (ie one bathroom shared between two single bedrooms), while Steele Rudd has communal facilities (ie a central block of bathrooms per building).

Blankets, linen and towels are provided in all Colleges. Breakfast and dinner is provided and lunches are available for purchase at the Club, the Campus Refectory or the Coffee Shop during the week. 

It is advisable to book early, as there are a limited number of rooms available. 

Lunch on Saturday 14 July 2007 will be in the College Dining Halls for both on and off campus students, as all the University’s venues will be closed. The cost will be $13.00 for off-campus students. Students living in the Colleges do not have to pay.

• Airport Flyer to Toowoomba will drop you at McGregor Residential College or any other location in Toowoomba. For further information contact +61 7 4630 1444.

Departure

Tuition will finish on Saturday 14 July 2007 at 4.30 pm. All students living in McGregor or Concannon Colleges are asked to vacate their rooms by 10:00 am on Sunday 15 July.

Electrical Equipment

Please Note: All electrical equipment required for your class at USQ must be ‘Tag-Tested’ by a qualified electrician prior to arrival in order to comply with commonwealth government safety rules. Items include: power tools, extension cords, hair dryers, and radio/CD players.
