Pre Parliament Event Toowoomba
On Saturday 3 October, USQ hosted a Pre-Parliament Event in Toowoomba at the Allison Dickson Lecture Theatre on the Toowoomba campus from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm as a lead up to the 2009 Parliament of the World’s Religions scheduled to take place in Melbourne in December. The event brought together local religious leaders and spiritual representatives providing the Toowoomba community with an opportunity to discuss good inter-religious relations and the chance to undertake mutual projects for the benefit of the broader community.
