Welcome to the religious leaders and representatives of the region's religious groups and participants of the program representing the region and University community by the Master of Ceremonies Mr Robert Ketton, Faculty of Arts.

Opening Address and Traditional Welcome to Country

Opening address by the Master of Ceremony (40th USQ Anniversary) and introducing Mr John Williams-Mozley who will provide Welcome to Country.

Prayers

Prayers performed by religious leaders and representatives of the region:

• Father Brian Sparksman, Chancellor Catholic Diocese of Toowoomba;
• Bishop Robert Nolan, Anglican Bishop of the West;
• Venerables Wu chin & Wu ping for Master Chin Kung, Buddhist Community;
• Imam Shahjahan Khan, Queensland Islamic Community;
• Rabi Uri Themal, Queensland Jewish Community;
