As part of USQ’s Hub Project, SUBWAY is about to open its doors at USQ Toowoomba as the Campus continues to improve its services to staff and students.
Mr Dave Povey, Executive Director of Campus Services at USQ said that getting SUBWAY to open at USQ was an exciting development of the Hub Project.
'We are putting a lot of effort into enhancing the services and facilities at USQ and to bring SUBWAY to the Toowoomba Campus will provide a great addition to the quality food services already available to staff and students,' Mr Povey said.
'There has been huge interest as people have followed the development in the Quad and to bring an international name like SUBWAY to USQ is an indication of the success of the Campus.'
The store at USQ Toowoomba will be the tenth store for mother and son team, Ms Hazel Johnstone and Mr Mark Johnstone, who are both excited by this venture.
'We are excited to bring the SUBWAY experience to the USQ community and we look forward to getting to know the staff and students. Our relationship is off to a flying start already with the support and professionalism we have encountered in establishing the store here at USQ.
'We will have special offers in our opening weeks and we are looking forward to bringing USQ more healthy eating options,' Ms Johnstone said.
The USQ Toowoomba branch of SUBWAY will open on Monday 16 April. Its normal trading hours are on weekdays from 7am to 5pm. Catering options and the Eat Fresh Club are available to USQ staff and students with details appearing on their website.
The Café Hub and Refectory outlets will continue regular operation.
