Members of the public and USQ Corporate Club Members are invited to attend the Centacare Business Breakfast Series, with keynote speaker Louise McOrmond-Plummer.
Louise McOrmond-Plummer, a survivor of domestic violence, studied an Associate Diploma in Welfare Studies (La Trobe University, Victoria) and has devoted 20 years to supporting domestic violence survivors and making resources available for both survivors, and professionals.
Louise is co-author with Dr. Patricia Easteal of the book Real Rape, Real Pain: Help for women sexually assaulted by male partners, and runs a support and educational website Aphrodite Wounded. In addition, Ms. McOrmond-Plummer presents a day-long professional training workshop, and is a director of Pandora’s Project.
