USQ Welcomes Students for O Week!
Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in University life when USQ opens its doors for O-Week this year (27 February - 3 March).
During the week, USQ faculties will welcome new students on campus and provide information about their study programs. The University will also offer campus and library tours and, in conjunction with the Student Guild, various social activities.
USQ Vice Chancellor, Professor Bill Lovegrove, says student orientation is compulsory, informative and enjoyable.
"University can be a pretty daunting place when you first arrive and O Week is specifically designed to make this adjustment as easy as possible,
"In particular O Week is an ideal opportunity to explore the campus, meet staff and other students and join clubs and societies,
"Traditionally O Week is also a lot of fun and I hope students enjoy themselves responsibly."
