Golden Key Honor Society hosts second new member reception
167 students will be inducted into USQ's chapter of the Golden Key Honour Society this Friday September 28 2007.
The function, which will be held at 6:30 pm at the USQ arts theatre, will be the Chapters second annual new member reception to welcome new students into the Golden Key community.
The ceremony will also feature congratulatory remarks from Associate Director of USQ marketing, Helen Ainsworth, with Toowoomba Mayor Cr Dianne Thorley and USQ chancellor Bobbie Brazil selected to be inducted as this year’s honorary members.
Chapter President Amanda Rowen said the two women were selected based on their commitment to the Toowoomba community, and their position as female role models.
'Both of this year’s honorary members are inspirational women,' Ms Rowen said.
