USQ professor re-elected ACPHIS president
Professor Mark Toleman, Head of the School of Information Systems in the Faculty of Business was re-elected for 2011 to the position of President of the Australian Council of Professors and Heads of Information systems (ACPHIS) at the Annual General Meeting.
ACPHIS is the peak body established to represent Australian information systems academics on matters of national and international importance to the discipline. It covers all Australian universities. http://www.acphis.org.au/
The President is also a member of the Australian Computer Society’s Information Systems Professional Board, a member of the Australasian Association of Information Systems Executive Committee (AAIS), a member of the Executive Committee of the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS) and an invited observer on the Australian Council of Deans of ICT (ACDICT).
