Alumnus of the Year awards open

Nominations are now open for the USQ Alumnus of the Year awards.

Manager of USQ Alumni, Tiffany Hardy, said the university was delighted to introduce the awards last year, and this year it aimed to showcase its talented and diverse graduates once again.

'Not only will these awards recognise outstanding alumni, but award winners will also be an inspiring role model for all USQ alumni, current students and staff, as well as the communities in which they live and work,' she said.

'Alumnus of the Year Awards for 2012 will formally recognise outstanding alumni of the University, including its predecessor institutions, in professional careers, sporting achievements, accomplishments in academia, or individuals who have made a major contribution in community service or overcome significant personal adversity.'

Head and shoulders photograph (high resolution jpeg)

Important Dates
• Monday 3 October Nominations for 2012 Alumnus of the Year open
• Tuesday 31 January Final day to nominate for the 2012 Alumnus of the Year
• Monday 27 February Short listing finalists will be notified
• Tuesday 17 April 2012 Winners will be announced at the Alumnus of the Year Breakfast Presentation
