There is still time to apply to study for 2012
|
It’s not too late for students and hopeful future students to enrol for Semester 1 classes at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) for 2012.
Final dates for enrolling closes two weeks prior to the start of the semester, with Semester 1 set to commence on February 27.
For anyone interested in studying at USQ who didn’t finish school or are unsure if their achievements will get them into their chosen courses, there are a number of programs available as a stepping-stone to a university education.
The Tertiary Preparation Program is a free program that gives you all the skills you need to succeed in your degree and guarantees entry to a USQ undergraduate (first) degree upon successful completion.
There are six new Foundation Diplomas available in the areas of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, Business, Creative Arts, Engineering, Science and Social Science which will provide credit towards your first year of study with USQ.
TAFE students or Cert III or IV holders may be eligible for direct entry and credit towards your degree while the Indigenous Higher Education Pathways Program has been specifically designed to give tertiary preparation skills to Indigenous students.
USQ Springfield information nights will commence at 5:30pm on Wednesday 18 January at the Auditorium.
USQ Toowoomba will be holding an information evening for hopeful students in Toowoomba’s at the Empire Theatre Church on Neil Street commencing at 5pm on Thursday 19 January.
USQ Fraser Coast will be conducting information session on Saturday 21 January from 10am to 1pm.
Each USQ faculty will be represented and our Student Relationship Officers will be on hand to provide information on courses and any enquiries visitors may have. We will also be able to help you start your application.
