Renowned musician to speak at program launch

 
Kev Carmody will be guest speaker
at the Bachelor of Arts launch

Australian singer songwriter Kev Carmody will speak at USQ Toowoomba this Thursday, October 28, for the launch of the new Bachelor of Arts program.

A USQ Faculty of Arts graduate and renowned musician, Mr Carmody will speak at the event alongside Faculty of Arts Dean and Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Goodall.

Mr Carmody graduated from USQ with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and was conferred an Honorary Degree of Doctor from the university in 2008.

The redesigned Bachelor of Arts program promotes flexible study over a wide range of skills and disciplines from within the university.

New areas of study have been introduced into the program with archaeology, Australian studies, popular culture, contemporary international studies and creative writing being offered for the first time at USQ.
