USQ to Host Farmer’s Markets

USQ will be hosting Farmer’s Markets that will run each Saturday from 9 October in the large carpark behind the USQ Club (carpark 10).

The Farmer’s Market will be managed by the organisation that operated the successful Wilsonton Markets.

Mr Nathan Jones, Manager (Operations) at USQ said that the markets will benefit Toowoomba and the surrounding regions.

“We are pleased that USQ can host an important community service such as the Farmer’s Market,” Mr Jones said.

“It will allow people from Toowoomba and the surrounding regions to sample fresh produce and other items from their own region.”

Breakfast and refreshments will be available during the morning.

Additional benefits will be available for USQ departments and staff who wish to operate a stall.

USQ departments will be able to operate a stall free of charge for USQ business or for USQ staff members who wish to operate a stall will receive a 20% discount on the advertised stall rate.
