The University of Southern Queensland’s Fraser Coast campus will be holding an Information Session this Saturday to support future students with their first step into university life.
The information session will be held from 10am to 1pm at the campus on Old Maryborough Road and no bookings are necessary.
Fraser Coast Events Coordinator Stephanie Bayley said attendees are welcome to come anytime between those hours.
‘People can turn up at their convenience, have a look around the campus and speak to people one-on-one about their area of interest,’ Ms Bayley said.
‘Student ambassadors will be there to answer questions about what it’s like to be a uni student at USQ and faculty staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the programs we offer.
‘Staff will also be available to offer assistance in regards to enrolments and a career counsellor will be on hand if people are not sure which way to go with their careers.’
Visitors can learn all about USQ’s programs on offer, its award-winning distance education and how it supports students in starting their dream careers.
‘The information day is recommended for anyone who thinks uni may be for them,” Ms Bayley said.
‘The day will also include information about the Open Access College and pathways to uni for those who haven’t completed schooling or haven’t studied for a long time.’
To find more information about the open day, call the Fraser Coast campus on 4194 3133 or visit
