Public lecture on IT innovations

Guest speaker Professor Joe Peppard from Cranfield University in England will offer practical advice and guidance on innovating with information technology during a public lecture on Thursday, October 27.

Professor Peppard, Chair in Information Systems at the Cranfield School of Management, will visit Toowoomba as the 2011 Dean’s Distinguished Visitor for the Faculty of Business and Law.

The lecture will offer practical advice to non-IT industries such as retail, law, manufacturing, constructions, energy, utilities, public sector, transport and banking on how to innovate with information technology.

The lecture will commence at 6pm at room Q501/502 on the fifth floor of Q Block at USQ’s Toowoomba campus.

Light refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the lecture.
