Held at the Toowoomba Golf Club recently, the USQ Corporate Club Chancellors Scholarship Golf Day was well attended with players from Toowoomba and district and as far as Brisbane.
Chairman of the USQ Academic Board, Professor Mark Toleman opened the days play emphasizing that 'Scholarships are a crucial part of the USQ's Student experience. We have a proud tradition of supporting students through our extensive range of scholarships.'

USQ Corporate Club Coordinator Cheryl Abberton considered the day a big success. "We are very happy with the Golf Day this year. Thirty four teams took part and with the help of sponsors we raised more than $11,000 to go towards the Scholarship. An added bonus for the scholarship fundraising is the annual contribution of $10,000 by the Chancellor, Mrs Bobbie Brazil's family foundation. "
'A big thankyou must go to all of the sponsors and supporters, particularly the major sponsor, Total Technology Centre, Canon Toowoomba,' she said.
