Football gear, pink fairy costumes, traffic lights and crazy socks were the order of the day for USQ staff who participated in the Darling Downs Free Dress Challenge this month.
USQ joined more than 20 community-minded businesses, schools and organisations in the recent Toowoomba Hospice fundraiser.
Toowoomba Hospice promotions and fundraising manager Mark Munro said he was pleased with this year's participation and was looking forward to seeing more support next year.
'The free dress challenge has brought in just over $7000 with some more still to come in,' Mr Munro said.
USQ staff raised more than $3000, with the Finance Department collecting the most money. They were rewarded with a $50 Myer Gift Voucher.
Hospice Director of Nursing, Kate Beyer, said it was great to see USQ staff supporting the Toowoomba Hospice.
'It was a fun way for staff to catch up with other co-workers and have a laugh while enjoying lunch and raising money for a great cause,' Mrs Beyer said.
All money raised will assist the daily operations of the Hospice, which provides palliative and respite care.
