FOE celebrates World Teachers Day

USQ Faculty of Education Staff tucked in to a Sausage Sizzle to celebrate World Teachers' Day on Monday, 29 October 2007.

Jo Ryan and Nicole Klein served sausages and drinks to staff outside the G block foyer.

"Its a world-wide celebration of teachers and their importance to the world," Ms Ryan said.

In 2007, the focus of the day was on working conditions, with organisers all around the world urging teachers, students and their communities to promote how better working conditions for teachers mean better learning conditions for learners.
