To study successfully at university you will need to build on the skills you already possess from school, work and life in general. Orientation is the start of your journey of development and discovery at university.

All students

Access free learning skills assistance through The Learning Centre and online resources (ALSonline).

On-campus students

1. During orientation attend getting started sessions. 
2. During weeks 1 - 9 attend on campus workshops for library, computing and general learning skills.

International students

During international orientation attend specialised sessions on learning skills. Off shore students should look at online Communications for Academic Purposes (CAP)*
