Quality
Quality is achieved when:
-
our values, plan, policies and actions are aligned
-
we listen and respond to our staff, customers, stakeholders and community
-
we apply our resources in line with our values, plans and policies
-
we review our plans, actions and achievements and seek to learn from our results
-
we are achieving results in line with our plans and our staff, customers, stakeholders and community expectations, and
-
we have a high level of commitment to our values, plans, policies and activities.
At USQ we have established a planning cycle and quality framework as the basis for our quality management.
Planning
The University endeavours to use planning as a means of:
-
reflecting the values and expectations of those in the University community
-
helping the University to respond proactively to emerging threats and opportunities
-
harnessing the capacity of the diverse University community to work towards the fulfilment of the University's vision and mission
-
integrating the academic and non-academic aspects of the organisation to not only maintain the academic rigour of USQ programs but to increase the marketability and sustainability of these programs
-
assisting the management team to allocate University resources consistent with the vision and mission, and
-
providing a framework for ongoing management and review so that we can assess, progress and revise our plans as circumstances change.
