The Public Memory Research Cluster investigates the ways in which the past is archived, understood and utilised by contemporary societies. The Cluster will undertake research which is internationally and nationally significant in quality; but it will also be interested in local and regional opportunities, affirming the University’s service commitments to the cultural life of its region. The University has significant expertise in this area with staff with good research records interested in developing collaborative as well as solo projects.
