Banca Ridge - Estate

The Estate wines are grown and produced by Stanthorpe State High School students on site under the guidance of a professional winemaker. The school vineyard was planted in 2000 and consists of Marsanne and Merlot grapes.

The Series includes:

Marsanne - 2003, 2004, 2005
Fossickers White - 2006
Merlot - 2004, 2005
Tin Miners Red - 2005.

Banca Ridge - Foundation Series

The Foundation Series is a range of six wines donated by members of the Queensland Wine Industry as the Industry's contribution to the College.

The Series includes:

Chardonnay (2005) - donated by Clovely Estate
Shiraz (2004) - donated by Sirromet Wines
Merlot (2004) - donated by Warrego Wines
Cabernet Sauvignon (2003) - donated by Casley Mt Hutton Wines
Cabernet Merlot (2004) - donated by Kominos Estate Wines
Fortified Shiraz (2004) - donated by Ballandean Estate Wines.

Banca Ridge - Gateway Series

The Gateway Series is produced by students from the Gateway Schools 'Young Winemakers' program at QCWT. Under industry guidance, students pick, crush, produce, bottle and label these wines.

The 2007 Series includes:

Semillon
Verdelho
Shiraz
Tempranillo
Nouveau.

The exciting 2008 vintage will be released soon including the following varietals:

Verdelho
Semillon
Sweet White
Tempranillo
Petit Verdot
Shiraz
Cabernet Sauvignon
Sweet Red.
