Recognition of Prior Learning
Do you already have significant work experience in bar, café, restaurant, accommodation, B & B or involvement in co-coordinating/running events? Why not get your valuable experience recognised and accredited! Your skills and experience may fit the criteria to receive ‘Recognition of Prior Learning' (RPL) and receive a trade qualification in cookery. You would then be able to train an apprentice. There are also significant Qld Government grants of up to $500 to assist in gaining RPL.

Stanthorpe campus office is open Monday 9.00am-12.00pm and 1.00pm-4.00pm; and Tuesday to Friday 9.00am-4.00pm.
