Traineeships and casual staff

Looking to undertake a traineeship in the wine tourism industry?

A traineeship involves working with an employer whilst undertaking vocational qualifications with TAFE.  A traineeship may be full time (school leaver or adult) or school-based (year 11 and/or year 12 student).

  • Full-time traineeship - register your interest at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism office (telephone +61 7 4685 5050).
  • School-based traineeship - enquire at your school work education office/coordinator.  For Stanthorpe students contact the work education office on +61 7 4681 5848.

If you are an employer interested in employing a trainee (either full-time or school-based) the Queensland College of Wine Tourism may be able to assit.

The Queensland College of Wine Tourism maintains a register of students who have expressed interest in casual employment in the wine tourism industry.  To be eligible for our register, the students must have achieved a basic skill level from work experience and training at QCWT.  Details will be provided on request to bona fide employers by contacting the college on +61 7 4685 5050 or qcwt@usq.edu.au.
