1. What is TRIM Students?
TRIM Students is your portal to web-based student records for authorised USQ staff to access student records.
When logging on to TRIM Students, information relevant to your search parameters will be displayed.
2. How do I access TRIM Students?
For new users requiring access please contact the Records Coordinator or TRIM Training & Compliance Officer for authorisation.
TRIM Students can be accessed from any on-campus computer via the Mozilla Firefox web browser.
1. Open Mozilla Firefox
2. Copy and paste the URL into the browser - https://trim.usq.edu.au
3. An " Authentication Required" window will appear.
4. Enter your search parameters.
5. Search results will be displayed.
3. I am unable to find a document?
For documents not yet processed (scanned) please contact Student Records.
4. I cannot log into TRIM Students
TRIM Students requires that you log in using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome (it won’t open in Internet Explorer).
Ensure that you are using the TRIM username and password not your own UConnect username and password.
Refer to TRIM Students Guides for more information.
5. I cannot see any documents in TRIM Students
When you have located the student file, Right Mouse Click on the name and click on Contained Records.
Then Right Mouse Click on the document and click View. The document will display.
If there is no Contained Records option when you Right Mouse Click on the Student file it means that the file does not have any documents attached.
Please contact a Records Officer (ext. 2233) to ascertain if there are any documents waiting to be scanned or attached to the file.
