We welcome you to come and have a look at the various public displays on USQ Toowoomba Campus. The USQ Historical Archives is playing an important role in preserving the history and memory of the University and is keen to share these memories with the wider community.
Rotational Themed Display
Buildings of USQ (currently exhibiting in the USQ Toowoomba Library)
The Buildings of USQ Exhibition shows the significant growth and development of the USQ campuses and our growth into a multi-location institution through USQ Fraser Coast, USQ Springfield and the Queensland College of Wine and Tourism.
The exhibition can be seen on the 3rd level of the USQ Toowoomba Library near the student computer area.
Permanent Display
Peter Rorke OAM
Peter Rorke was a remarkable composer, musician and educator. He was Associate Professor and later Head of Music Program in the Faculty of Arts between 1977 and 1995. Professor Rorke was instrumental in setting up the USQ Music Department. He also founded the Toowoomba Concert Orchestra, the USQ Sinfonia, the student orchestra and opera at the University. Peter received a number of prestigious awards for his valuable contribution to music including the Medal of Order of Australia (1995), SAMI Award and Commendation - Television society of Australia for Best Musical Program "The Fool on the Hill" (1976).
The exhibition can be seen at the Concert Hall entrance (Q1101 Foyer).
O4 Block Corporate Records Displays
Additional displays of USQ memorabilia, mounted in the USQ Corporate Records Building (O4) located on the south-western corner of the Toowoomba Campus, off Baker Street, include:

- Leaders of USQ Gallery
These displays are accessible to the public by appointment only.
