Centre for Research in Transformative Pedagogies (CRTP)The Centre for Research in Transformative Pedagogies will promote and support high quality research into the full spectrum of human development from primary through tertiary to lifelong learning, to maintain USQ’s identity as a leading provider of innovative, trans-national and multi-modal higher education, and to further its reputation as an educational leader in transformative pedagogies. CRTP will strive to provide hands-on research experiences to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and academic staff. Collaborations between faculties and other educational providers will enable the CRTP to achieve this goal. Transformative pedagogies engages lecturers, teachers and learners in processes that enable them to construct new knowledge that will enhance the quality of their personal lives, their communities and their worlds. As such, the aura of government policy, leadership and organisational influences are also key topics for CRTP. Director |
