The use of this checklist is optional. It is designed to assist you in identifying, collecting and maintaining the verification material required when submitting information for research books.

Meets the definition of research
 
Published in 2007
 
Author(s) staff or student when research undertaken
 
Major work of scholarship
 
Bound or packaged and offered for sale
 
Has ISBN
 
Mainly previously unpublished material, making a substantial contribution to knowledge
 
Commercial publisher
 
Points claimed apportioned for reporting unit* if jointly authored
* do not claim for authors based in other departments.

Verification

 
Contents, preface and introduction and pages showing all bibliographic information (ISBN, title, author(s), publisher, all dates referring to copyright, publication, printing, distribution).
 
(Further evidence may be required if the above extracts do no demonstrate classification.)
 
Evidence indicating research undertaken in author's capacity as a staff member or student of USQ.
