Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research; This publication guides institutions and researchers in responsible research practices and promotes integrity in research for researchers. The Code shows how to manage breaches of the Code and allegations of research misconduct, how to manage research data and materials, how to publish and disseminate research findings, including proper attribution of authorship, how to conduct effective peer review and how to manage conflicts of interest. It also explains the responsibilities and rights of researchers if they witness research misconduct.

 

The Australian Code of Practice for the Care and Use of Animals for Scientific Purposes

 

 

 

 

 

The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation is the government department responsible for overseeing animal welfare in Queensland. This responsibility includes safeguarding the welfare of animals used in science, testing and teaching.
Qld Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Biosecurity Queensland, a service of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, is the government's lead agency for animal welfare activities in Queensland.
Australian and New Zealand Council for the Care of Animals in Research and Teaching (ANZCCART)

 

 ANZCCART is an independent body that has been developed to provide a national and international focus for the use of animals in research and teaching. It aims to promote excellence in the care of animals in research and teaching, responsible scientific use of animals and informed discussion and debate within the community regarding these matters.
