Amendments and reporting

Amendments

Researchers (both staff and students) are required to obtain ethics approval before implementing any amendment to an approved project.
The researcher will need to advise the Ethics Officer by email (ethics@usq.edu.au) of the amendment being made prior to the expiry date of the approved research and attach the AEC Request for Amendment Form which will include the reason/s for the amendment. An amendment to an applications cannot be submitted after the expiry data of the approved research.

Reporting

Researchers are required to provide a report on the AEC Progress/Final Report Form (DOC 119KB) to the Animal Research Ethics Commitee twelve months after receiving ethical clearance, or at the conclusion of the project. The questionnaire for monitoring research involving animals will be sent and will need to be attached to the report.
