Help name our High Performance Computer (HPC)
| The one thing our HPC can’t do is give itself a name!
USQ’s new High Performance Computer (HPC) will go live in 2016, doubling USQ’s super computing power and providing USQ researchers with the capacity to crunch lots of big data superfast.
It can do so much, but sadly, the one thing our HPC can’t do is give itself a name.
Many High Performance Computing (HPC) systems around the world have been named after great scientists or other notable figures.
So what name would you give USQ’s HPC?
You are invited to send your most awesome idea to eResearchServices@usq.edu.au by 15/03/2016.
The HPC Refresh Committee are charged with selecting the winning entry, with the winner recognised and their bragging rights immortalised at a HPC ‘go live’ event.
