Submit your publication

Step 1

Once your publication has been published, enter publication details into ePrints. Please ensure all mandatory fields are completed (indicated by a red star adjacent to the field name) before submitting your record.

Depositing your ePrint will step you through the process.

Step 2

Upload the approved and published versions of the publication.

Step 3

Collect all verification material required for HERDC and scan the verification material into a single or multiple document/(s), convert it to a suitable format and upload the verification material into the appropriate ePrints record as you did for Step 2.

Step 4

Library/ePrints staff will verify that information is accurate and gather copyright information. Once reviewed and accepted, the publication will go live in ePrints.

Step 5

The Office of Research and Higher Degrees will then assess whether the publication is reportable based on the verification evidence provided through ePrints.

Step 6

An email will be sent to all authors of the publication advising whether the publication meets the requirements for reporting to government

Step 7

Faculties will be able to obtain reports to assign workload points, incentives and for management reports etc.
