Format of dissertation

When submitting a dissertation for examination, it should be bound in temporary form. The temporary bound dissertation must:

  • be strong enough to prevent damage to the dissertation during the ordinary course of postage and handling
  • not be bound in a ring or spring folder.

External editors

When preparing a dissertation for examination, supervisors are expected to provide editorial advice to their students. Students may also use external editors for proof-reading and editing, but should:
