Chancellor's Scholarships
USQ will offer three Chancellor's Scholarships for students commencing full-time on-campus study at USQ in 2012. One scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding applicant from each of the Toowoomba, Fraser Coast and Springfield campuses.
Scholarship value
Each scholarship will have a total value of $12,000. This will be paid in a stipend of $500 per study unit for a maximum of three years.
Short listed applicants who do not receive a Chancellor's Scholarship or other scholarship will receive a $500 bursary paid after the last date to drop Semester 1 courses.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be citizens of Australia or have permanent resident status;
-
start their studies in a bachelor degree program at USQ, full-time (except if exceptional circumstances prevent full-time study), on-campus, in Semester 1, 2012.

- Applications must be received by the closing date and in writing on the USQ application form provided.
- Maximum of six (6) short-listed applicants.
- The duration of the Scholarship supports three years of a recipient’s degree.
- Scholarship recipients may be asked to participate, for not more than 20 hours, in the year of receipt of their scholarship, in assisting to promote USQ as required.
- Recipients may be asked to participate in focus group research.
- The Scholarship will be forfeited if, during the Scholarship period, the recipient;

- USQ reserve the right to not award the Scholarship in a given year.
