Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship - approximately $20,000

The Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship assists a USQ Music Graduate to undertake further advanced musical study overseas. This annual award alternates between instrumental and vocal study programs.

Distance Education Study Support Scholarships - $1,000

USQ will offer 16 scholarships for students studying by distance education.

City of Ipswich Scholarship - $5,000

The Ipswich City Council offers one scholarship to a student entering the second year of full-time on-campus study at USQ Springfield.

Robin Yong Scholarship for International Students - $2,000

The Robin Yong Scholarship assists second year on-campus international students with fees or living expenses directly related to their University study.

Equity Scholarships - $3,000 or laptop or $750 book bursary

USQ will award over 75 Equity Scholarships to commencing and continuing undergraduate students studying full-time.

Sinnathamby Continuing Student Scholarship - $15,600

USQ will offer one Sinnathamby Continuing Student Scholarship to a student who is enrolled in full-time, on campus study in the second year of a bachelor's degree program at USQ Springfield Campus in 2009.


Commonwealth Scholarships

Commonwealth Scholarship (CS)

USQ will award scholarships to assist rural and regional, low socio-economic and Indigenous students, who are Australian citizens or holders of permanent humanitarian visas.

Scholarships for students studying German Language

Language Proficiency Scholarship

A full-time scholarship is available through the Goethe Institute in Sydney. The scholarship is of relevance to USQ students intending to become German Language teachers.

Intensive 8 German course

A half-scholarship opportunity is a direct arrangement between the German Language and Cultural Studies discipline at USQ and the Goethe Institute in Gottingen in Germany. Preference is given to students who are studying a major in German Language and Cultural Studies, though all interested USQ German language students are invited to approach Gabriela Pohl, USQ Lecturer in German Language and Culture, for further information. USQ makes a final recommendation of a suitable applicant on the basis of merit to the Goethe Institute.
