USQ will offer one Sinnathamby Continuing Student Scholarship to a student who is enrolled in full-time, on campus study in the second year of a bachelor's degree program at USQ Springfield Campus in 2009.

Scholarships for students studying German Language
Language Proficiency Scholarship
A full-time scholarship is available through the Goethe Institute in Sydney. The scholarship is of relevance to USQ students intending to become German Language teachers.
Intensive 8 German course
A half-scholarship opportunity is a direct arrangement between the German Language and Cultural Studies discipline at USQ and the Goethe Institute in Gottingen in Germany. Preference is given to students who are studying a major in German Language and Cultural Studies, though all interested USQ German language students are invited to approach Gabriela Pohl, USQ Lecturer in German Language and Culture, for further information. USQ makes a final recommendation of a suitable applicant on the basis of merit to the Goethe Institute.
