Faculty of Arts scholarships
Alan Edwards Memorial Scholarship - $4,000
USQ will offer one Alan Edwards Memorial Scholarship to an undergraduate student continuing full-time on campus study. The Scholarship is awarded to a student entering their 3rd year of a Bachelor of Creative Arts, majoring in Theatre.

Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship - approximately $20 000
The Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship assists a USQ Music Graduate to undertake further advanced musical study overseas. This annual award alternates between instrumental and vocal study programs.

Rachael Fontana Memorial Bursary for the Arts - $2000
Each year the University of Southern Queensland will offer one Rachael Fontana Memorial Bursary to an undergraduate student continuing full-time on-campus study at USQ Toowoomba campus. The Bursary is equity based and is awarded in Semester 1 to a student pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Arts, who is from a rural or remote area.

Bellmaine French Appreciation Travelling Scholarship - $20 000
The Bellmaine French Appreciation Travelling Scholarship offers a student further education opportunity in France, while also participating actively in the French community through employment nad community activities.

City of Ipswich Scholarship - $5000
The Ipswich City Council offers one scholarship to a student entering the second year of full-time on-campus study at USQ Springfield.

USQ will award Equity Scholarships to commencing and continuing undergraduate students studying full-time.

Sinnathamby Continuing Student Scholarship - $15 600
USQ will offer one Sinnathamby Continuing Student Scholarship to a student who is enrolled in full-time, on campus study in the second year of a bachelor's degree program at USQ Springfield Campus in 2010.
Commonwealth Scholarships
Commonwealth Scholarship (CS)
USQ will award Commonwealth scholarships to Indigenous students from rural, regional and low socio-economic backgrounds.

Scholarships for students studying German language
Language Proficiency Scholarship
A full-time scholarship is available through the Goethe Institute in Sydney. The scholarship is of relevance to USQ students intending to become German Language teachers.
Intensive 4 German course
Two, 4 week half-Scholarships are offered each year as a direct arrangement between the German Language and Cultural Studies discipline at USQ and the Goethe Institute in Goettingen in Germany. Preference is given to students who are studying a major in German Language and Cultural Studies, though all interested USQ German language students are invited to approach Gabriela Pohl, USQ Lecturer in German Language and Culture, for further information. USQ makes a final recommendation of suitable applicants on the basis of merit to the Goethe Institute in Göttingen.
