Faculty of Engineering and Surveying Indigenous Student ScholarshipThe Faculty of Engineering and Surveying will offer one scholarship to a full-time on-campus Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student enrolling in any undergraduate degree program offered by the Faculty in 2009. Scholarship valueThe scholarship will have a value of $8,000. The scholarship will be awarded for one year at $4,000 initially. Scholarships can be extended to a second year if the recipient maintains a grade point average of 5 or greater. EligibilityApplicants must:
1Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants must substantiate his/her Aboriginality. An applicant who is a recipient of ABSTUDY, or who is a registered Aboriginal Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ATAS) student is eligible to apply. Alternatively, substantiation can be provided by submitting a certification of Aboriginality in the form of a statutory declaration, or in the form of an official letter from either:

ApplicationsComplete the USQ Scholarship Application Form 2009 (PDF* 122 KB) and forward it to the Scholarships Officer, Student Services, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba QLD 4350.
