Faculty of Education – Dean’s Bursary for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students

In 2013, the Faculty of Education will offer two Dean’s Bursaries to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in recognition of the special role that Indigenous educators play within their community.

Value

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $2500.

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

  • be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • be studying on-campus or online 
  • be enrolled in up to 4 study units in each of Semester One and Semester Two of each year of study 
  • commence their studies in an undergraduate or postgraduate Education degree or 
  • continue their studies in an undergraduate or postgraduate Education degree (have completed at least the first year of the degree).

Students commencing study in Semester 1, 2013 must complete the USQ Scholarship Application Form (PDF* 147KB).

Students studying during 2012 must complete the USQ Continuing Students Scholarships Application Form (PDF* 95KB).
