Faculty of Engineering and Surveying Indigenous Student Scholarship

In 2013, the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying will offer one Faculty of Engineering and Surveying Indigenous Student Scholarship.

Value

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $10,000.

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

• be commencing or continuing full-time on-campus at Toowoomba or Springfield.
• be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
• be Aboriginal Australian or Torres Strait Islander descent 
• be commencing or continuing any bachelor degree offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying.

Selection criteria

Applicants will:

• have a high level of academic achievement, but consideration will also be given to other school, community or sporting activities.
• have a current Grade Point Average of at least 5.00 for those applicants who are studying at USQ in 2012.

How to apply

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

• complete the appropriate USQ Scholarship Application Form:
   
  
  • applicants commencing study in Semester 1, 2013 must complete the USQ Scholarship Application Form (PDF 208 KB) and attach a Statement of Support (PDF 162 KB) completed by either your School Principal, Subject Coordinator or other appropriate referee
     
  • applicants continuing their study with USQ in Semester 1, 2013 must complete the USQ Continuing Students Scholarship Application Form (PDF 95 KB).  Forward the completed application and supporting documents to:
