Go WEST Women in Engineering or Surveying Scholarship

 In 2013, Go WEST (Women in Engineering, Science and Technology), in conjunction with the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying, will offer one Go West Women in Engineering or Surveying Scholarships.

Value

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $8000.

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

• be an Australian Citizen or have permanent resident status 
• be female 
• have completed Year 12 in 2012 
• commence their studies in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying in Semester 1, 2013 
• be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2 of each year of study 
• be enrolled at Toowoomba or Springfield campus 
• be studying on-campus.

Selection criteria

Applicants will:

• have a high level of academic achievement 
• provide evidence of academic achievement eg High School report card 
• demonstrate a history of involvement within their school, extracurricular activities or within their local community.
