The Indigenous Access Scholarship financially assists Indigenous students from regional and remote areas on low incomes with higher education costs. This scholarship is aimed at students looking to undertake full-time undergraduate degrees and associate degrees or students looking to undertake an Indigenous Enabling Program such as the Indigenous Higher Education Pathways Program (IHEPP) in either a full-time or part-time capacity. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, and do not need to be repaid. The value of a Commonwealth Scholarship is NOT considered income for Centrelink purposes.
